Private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has disclosed the amount commercial sex workers charge for their services. According to the “Celebrity Lawyer”, the amount charged by prostitutes depends on the type of sex and how long the man wants to last during the intercourse. He said, some of the prostitutes take GHC50 which is the cheapest amount, for sex that does not involve kissing, touching and fondling.  “I have done research on that and I know that some of the prostitutes take GHC50 for short time; even that one there’s no kissing and touching involved and it lasts for at most two minutes,” he said. Mr. Ampaw explained that, for a man to have a full night with a prostitute and be able to satisfy his libido, he is required to pay not less than GHC150.  “We also have full night. Hiplife artiste Nana Yaw Adjei Yeboah Maradona popularly known as Guru has revealed how a trusted friend stabbed him in the back by trying to kill him He said, he was nearly killed after he unknowingly consumed poison given to him by a close friend. He told Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show that he did not realise he had ingested poison until he started feeling uncomfortable whenever he had to perform on stage.  According to the Samba and Lapaz Toyota hit maker, the incident affected his voice as he had lumps in his throat and had difficulties in singing and talking. Officials of the Ghana International Bank have said the Bank has no evidence of money laundering against Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, debunking media reports that suggest otherwise. They said the ongoing tribunal hearing that has gained much public attention, has nothing to do with the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as it is about the former Executive Director of the bank, Mark Arthur’s breach of the Bank’s internal policies and procedures. Clarifying the Asantehene’s involvement in the money laundering case, the bank in a statement said, “There has never been any suggestion by the Bank that the King was or is involved in money laundering. In fact, we have no evidence to that effect. Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale North has taunted persons who have condemned him over his comments on the Atomic Junction gas explosion and other happenings in the country. On Saturday, October 7, 2017, Ghanaians were disappointed after the Black Stars’ failed to qualifier for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in their clash against Uganda in Kampala. The Same day in the night at about 7pm, news of a double gas explosion which led to the death of seven people and more than 100 people sustaining severe injuries, was reported. Ghanaians were saddened as memories of June 3, 2015 twin disaster at Circle Goil filling station and the La gas explosion were rekindled when the Madina Atomic Junction gas explosion happened last Saturday night. At least seven persons have lost their lives and several others with various degrees of injuries, receiving medical attention at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
