I didn't fight Jon Benjamin; I’m not on social media - Mugabe clarifies
Salifu Maase, the host of Montie FM’s political talk show, has rejected media reports suggesting there was a Twitter war between him and British High Commissioner to Ghana, Jon Benjamin. A previous news story claims the controversial radio host popularly called Mugabe, "started a turf war with the British High Commissioner to Ghana on Twitter over the former’s decision to visit his family in the UK. Mugabe is reported to have told the Commissioner in a tweet that “UK is not heaven”. But according to Mugabe, the said Twitter account does not belong to him even though it is in his name. “I would like to state categorically that I have no Twitter account with the name “Mugabe Maase”. I want to say without mincing words that I do not have or belong to any social media platform. I don’t patronize Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram, Viber, or Tango,” he said in a statement.
